While Patricia emphasizes the importance of private instruction, she promotes the value of ensemble experience for musical development, camaraderie and support. Practicing the harp can be an isolating endeavor.
In Ensemble Class, students share their progress, exchange ideas and understanding, lend each other support and have fun as an integral component of Patricia’s approach to instruction. Teacher and students gain. New friends are made and old acquaintances are renewed.

Participation in Ensemble Class prepares
a student for the wonderful experience of
value in community. This sense of value
and of community will continue as long as
an individual chooses to participate in
the rich opportunities afforded a harpist
child, teen, adult, hobbyist and professional.
