| | A: | POEM stands for Partners Organized for Education, Enrichment and Entertainment in Mokena. We sponsor a spelling bee, chess nights, and an annual storytelling night, featuring Mokena's (and POEM's) very own, Tom Nolan.
| | Q: | What made you think of having a storytelling festival?
| | A: | Tom brought along another storyteller in 2002, Gene Gryniewicz, and figured, why stop there, let's have a whole day of storytelling, and let's add some folk music, too. We had such great events in 2002 and 2004, we are having a lot of the performers back for '05!
| | Q: | What is a StoryFolk?
| | A: | We are presenting STORYtellers, and FOLK musicians, hence the name STORY-FOLK !
